I completed my studies of human medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke in 2007.
For more than 11 years I have been working as a doctor in patient care.
Already during my studies I completed and successfully completed a 5-year training in Chinese Medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke. This "Chinese" view of health and illness has never really "let go" of me, even during my work in various hospitals. So I have continued my education in this field (Balance Method Acupuncture, Hunyuan Medicine).
For some years now, I have been increasingly inspired by functional medicine, as practiced in the USA (Chris Kresser, Mark Hyman) and in Great Britain (Dr. Chatterjee). This new view on health and illness has since then been increasingly incorporated into my treatments.
